Jussi Salminen is a Finnish fashion designer. He is the talent behind his own fashion company Olav. His work became more known to the general public when he took part in the second season of Finnish Project Runway. He was one of the three finalists.
Jussi Salminen's unique take on fashion design is what sets him apart from others. His androgynous and unisex philosophy in fashion design creates unusual and interesting pieces. Onesize thinking is also a big part of his design aesthetic. Nothing boring will come out from him that is for sure.
His goal is to get to the international markets. He is set to give his customers something new, something they can't find anywhere else. "I want to give my customers not only great pieces of clothing but I also want to affect them emotionally. When I do that then I know I have created something truly unique."
